3 INGREDIENT KETO CHOCOLATE HAZELNUT CANDY BALLS – CHOCZERO

3 Ingredient Keto Chocolate Hazelnut Candy Balls – ChocZero image

We love to make chocolate treats and bites (like our keto truffles), so if you ever want to become a keto chocolatier yourself, try these...

Provided by Kelly Simberg

Total Time 1 hours 20 minutes

Prep Time 15 minutes

Cook Time 5 minutes

Number Of Ingredients 3

¾ cup sugar free chocolate hazelnut spread
¾ cup hazelnuts
1 cup sugar free milk chocolate chips

Steps:

  • Place sugar free chocolate hazelnut spread in freezer for 15 to 30 minutes
  • Chop hazelnuts, put in small shallow bowl, set aside
  • To create hazelnut candy balls, take chilled sugar free chocolate hazelnut spread and scoop out into balls. Then we need to chill them so we can dip them in melted chocolate. Chill balls for at least 15 minutes in freezer.
  • Take balls out of freezer, insert 1 hazelnut into each, and roll into chopped hazelnuts. Then we’re going to harden them again, chilling them in freezer for at least 15 minutes.
  • While balls are chilling, melt the sugar free milk chocolate chips.
  • Use a skewer, dipping tool, or a fork and lower the candy ball into the melted chocolate. Use another fork or spoon to gently cover the ball completely with chocolate and then gently shake off any excess. It might be tempting, but don't touch the candy until the chocolate has set. Otherwise, you might smudge it!
  • Place each ball on a lined baking sheet, and chill until chocolate coating has hardened.
