This cake is delicious! My cousin Joanie use to make it for my sister and I whenever she babysat us. It brings back a lot of great memories and is a favorite of mine! Enjoy!

Steps:
- Mix flour, sugar, baking soda, cinnamon & nutmeg.
- Cook butter, Crisco, salt & cocoa then add to above mixture.
- Add buttermilk, vanilla and beaten eggs. Mix well and bake in a well greased cookie sheet on 350 degrees for 20 minutes or until done.
- Beat icing ingredients together and spread onto cake warm or cold. My cousin likes to add icing to cake when it's warm, she thinks it sticks better. Cut into pieces and place cut piece into a cupcake wrapper n serve or leave as a sheet and cut slices.

Add hot water. Bake in greased 9 x 9 inch pan in oven which has been preheated to 325 degrees OR cook in microwave pan at power level 5 (50%) for 20 minutes. Turn pan 1/4 turn every 5 minutes. Let rest 10 minutes. Optionally one can sprinkle chocolate chips on top of cake after being cooked - when melted spread chips on top of cake. Serves 12.
