Bread Pudding
2 cups Land O Lakes® Half & Half
1/3 cup firmly packed brown sugar
1/4 cup Land O Lakes® Butter melted
5 large Land O Lakes® Eggs
2 tablespoons orange juice
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/8 teaspoon ground nutmeg
4 large glazed raised doughnuts, cut into 3/4-inch pieces
Cinnamon Glaze
3/4 cup powdered sugar
1 tablespoon Land O Lakes® Cinnamon Sugar Butter Spread
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 to 2 tablespoons Land O Lakes® Half & Half

Steps:

  • Heat oven to 350°F. Spray 1 1/2-quart baking dish with no-stick cooking spray. Set aside.
  • Combine all pudding ingredients except doughnuts in large bowl; mix well. Add doughnut pieces; mix until coated. Let mixture stand 5 minutes.
  • Spoon into prepared dish. Bake 45-50 minutes or until puffed and toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Cool slightly.
  • Meanwhile, combine powdered sugar, Cinnamon Sugar Butter Spread and 1/2 teaspoon vanilla in small bowl. Beat, gradually adding enough half & half for desired glazing consistency. Drizzle over slightly cooled pudding. Serve immediately.

6 stale cider doughnuts, broken into bite-size pieces
1 large apple - peeled, cored, and chopped
1?½ cups half-and-half
¼ cup white sugar
2 eggs, lightly beaten
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
¾ teaspoon ground cinnamon
2 tablespoons maple syrup, or more to taste

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Butter an 8x8-inch baking dish.
  • Mix doughnuts and apple together in the prepared baking dish.
  • Whisk half-and-half, sugar, eggs, vanilla, and cinnamon together in a bowl. Pour half-and-half mixture over donuts and apples in the baking dish. Let sit until liquid is absorbed, stirring occasionally, about 15 minutes.
  • Bake in the preheated oven until golden, about 30 minutes. Cool and drizzle with maple syrup.
