Pressure Cooker Cheesy Polenta - Mealthy.com image

A warm and comforting bowl of polenta is a nice dish to prepare to keep you warm on cold winter days. This is a great dish for breakfast, brunch, or dinner. Serve with a nice drizzle of good olive oil over the top to really take it to the next level. The pressure cooker makes the process so quick and easy, cutting the cook time by at least 30 minutes.

Provided by Jennifer Mosinski

Total Time 19 minutes

Yield 2 serving(s)

Number Of Ingredients 10

4 cups water
1 cup coarse cornmeal (polenta)
1½ teaspoons ground black pepper, or more to taste

3 tablespoons unsalted butter
2 tablespoons sour cream
grated Parmesan cheese
ground black pepper to taste

INSTANT POT® POLENTA RECIPE | ALLRECIPES
Polenta, a staple of Northern Italian cuisine, is traditionally made by adding cornmeal to boiling salted water and stirring with a wooden spoon until your biceps aches! You can achieve the same results by letting your Instant Pot® do all of the work for you! We like to serve this topped with browned Italian sausage and pork ribs that have simmered in a sauce made with onions, garlic, basil and tomato sauce until the ribs are falling off the bone-tender! Serve with additional cheese, if desired. Delizioso!
