1 lb. bulk Italian pork sausage
1 (1-lb.) loaf sourdough bread, cubed
1 (3-oz.) can Sliced Mushrooms with Garlic, undrained
1/4 cup thinly sliced green onions
10 eggs
3 cups half-and-half
1 teaspoon dry mustard
1/2 teaspoon salt
8 oz. (2 cups) shredded Italian cheese blend

Steps:

  • Spray 13x9-inch (3-quart) glass baking dish with nonstick cooking spray. Cook sausage in large skillet over medium-high heat until no longer pink, stirring frequently. Drain.
  • Place bread cubes in sprayed baking dish. Sprinkle evenly with cooked sausage, mushrooms and onions.
  • In large bowl, combine eggs, half-and-half, dry mustard and salt; beat lightly. Slowly pour egg mixture evenly over mixture in baking dish; press down lightly. Sprinkle with cheese. Cover tightly; refrigerate at least 8 hours or overnight.
  • Heat oven to 350°F. Uncover; bake 1 hour or until golden brown and knife inserted in center comes out clean. Let stand 10 minutes before serving.

Homemade Doughnuts Made With Pillsbury Grands Biscuits ... image

Number Of Ingredients 9

1 Can of Pillsbury Grands Homestyle Original Refrigerated Biscuits
2 cups Vegetable Cooking Oil
1 ½ Powdered Sugar
+
3 to 4 tablespoons Water
Or
½ Cup of Granulated Sugar
+
2 tablespoons of Ground Cinnamon

Steps:

  • Heat vegetable oil on medium-high heat in a deep fry pan. I use a smaller 4 quart pan to preserve oil (the wider your pan, the more oil you will have to use to deep fry)
  • Open your can of biscuits and lay flat on a cutting board. Take your shot glass or baby bottle and press the open end in down on the dough to cut out a hole in the middle, do this for all 8 biscuits, keep cut out middles to make doughnut holes.
  • By the time you get done prepping your biscuits, your oil should be ready. To test drop one of the biscuit middles in the hot oil, if it bubbles it is ready for you to fill the oil. Do not over fill, you don’t want them to overlap.
  • Let them cook for about 1 minute on each side (should be golden brown when you remove them from oil.
