An easier version of my family's favorite snack. I used to make them as a wrap but I find this so much easier! Serve with whole wheat crackers.

1 (8 ounce) package softened cream cheese
6 dill pickle spears, diced
1 (2 ounce) package thinly sliced dried beef, chopped

Steps:

Mix together the softened cream cheese, diced pickle, and chopped beef until well combined. Chill until ready to serve.

I decided to try this recipe on my card club, and it was a big success. They loved it. This ham pickle roll up recipe can be swapped around and changed in so many different ways and always turns out as an awesome appetizer or great-looking centerpiece over a hand of cards.

Ingredients

2 ounces cream cheese, softened
1-1/2 teaspoons spicy ranch salad dressing mix
2 slices deli ham
2 whole dill pickles

Steps:

In a small bowl, combine cream cheese and dressing mix. Spread over ham slices. Place a pickle on each ham slice. Roll up tightly; wrap in plastic. Refrigerate for at least 1 hour or until firm. Cut each wrap into six slices.

In a small pot over medium heat, combine white vinegar, sugar, allspice and salt. Stir well until the liquid is simmering and the sugar has completely dissolved. Pour pickling liquid over red onion and cucumbers and stir to ensure everything is evenly coated. Allow to cool to room temperature, then cover with plastic wrap (press the plastic wrap down onto the cucumbers so there is no air) and refrigerate. Chill for at least 4 hours to cool completely before serving.

After looking on the internet for days for a Chick-Fil-A copycat and finding only plain old fried chicken recipes, I decided to try and imitate it myself. It came out pretty darn close I think! There are two crucial ingredients chick-fil-a uses that most recipes dont have- pickle juice and sugar. They also use MSG- but its also ok without it if you dont like it. Just cut up the breasts into chunks and follow recipe for nuggets. (Edit: I also have to say I love Chick- Fil-A and that I think they're a great company. I encourage anyone to visit if they can, the staff is always so nice and polite at every location I've been to! Its just too bad they don't have more locations!)

Fry the chicken however you prefer here. I pan fried mine in a few tablespoons of oil and it turned out fine. Chick-Fil-A deep fries theirs in a pressure cooker, so you can try that if you are feeling adventurous.
