TOP SECRET RECIPES | MCDONALD'S FRENCH FRIES

Top Secret Recipes | McDonald's French Fries image

They're the world's most famous French fries, responsible for one-third of all U.S. French fry sales, and many say they're the best. These fried spud strips are so popular that Burger King even changed its own recipe to better compete with the secret formula from Mickey D's. One-quarter of all meals served today in American restaurants come with fries; a fact that thrills restaurateurs since fries are the most profitable menu item in the food industry. Proper preparation steps were developed by McDonald's to minimize in-store preparation time, while producing a fry that is soft on the inside and crispy on the outside. This clone requires a two-step frying process to replicate the same qualities: the fries are par-fried, frozen, then fried once more to crispy just before serving. Be sure to use a slicer to cut the fries for a consistent thickness (1/4-inch is perfect) and for a cooking result that will make them just like the real thing. As for the rumor that you must soak the fries in sugar water to help them turn golden brown, I also found that not to be necessary. If the potatoes have properly developed they contain enough sugar on their own to make a good clone with great color. Now, how about a Big Mac or Quarter Pounder to go with those fries? CHEESECAKE FACTORY RED VELVET CAKE RECIPE - TOP SECRET RECI…

Cheesecake Factory Red Velvet Cake Recipe - Top Secret Reci… image

Menu Description: "Moist layers of Red Velvet Cake and our Original Cheesecake covered with our special Cheesecake Factory cream cheese frosting." To make the best Cheesecake Factory red velvet cake recipe, we must start with a good red velvet cake recipe. I studied several versions and eventually created a red velvet formula that is moist, with the perfect color and size to layer into a 9-inch springform pan between no-bake cheesecake filling. When the cake sets up in a few hours, you remove it from the pan and apply the delicious cream cheese frosting. The white chocolate curls pressed into the side of the cake can be made easily by dragging a peeler over the edge of a white chocolate bar. One 4-ounce bar will give you more than enough of the curls, but that’s okay since many will fall off in the process of pressing them onto the side of the cake. COBB SALAD RECIPE | ALLRECIPES
This is a fabulous salad. I must correct Bonnie who reviewed this recipe previously. The original recipe from The Brown Derby does not contain olives nor does it use Thousand Island dressing. The chef who's brilliant idea this recipe is used raw egg with lemon juice and mustard, among other things, for the dressing.

SLOW COOKER REUBEN DIP RECIPE | ALLRECIPES
I recently made this for the first time for pitch-in lunch and received "rave" reviews. Everyone wanted to know what was in it! I made two minor changes. Instead of swiss cheese, I used a shredded mix of mozzarella & smoked provolone (Sargento brand) and added about 2 teaspons more of the Thousand Island dressing. I also doubled the recipe.
