Braised Lotus Root taste sweet and salty, as well as a crunchy bite. If you never tried lotus root before, this is a good banchan to whip-up.

Vinegar - 3 Tablespoon
Salt - 1/2 Tablespoon
Water - 1 cup
Soy sauce - 10 Tablespoons
Sugar - 7 Tablespoon
Corn syrup - 5 Tablespoon (or use honey)

Cold lotus root, my favorite cold salad in summer, this dish is appetizing after dinner, let’s get alive

1 piece Lotus root
3 scoops Vinegar
Right amount shallot
Right amount Millet pepper
Right amount garlic
Right amount salt
Right amount Sugar
Right amount Soy sauce
Right amount sesame oil

Steps:

  • Prepare the raw materials, wash and peel the lotus root, cut into pieces, mince the green onion, millet pepper, and garlic for later use
  • Put the lotus root chunks in a pot and blanch them for later use
  • Pour the chopped green onion, millet pepper, garlic CUCU raw vinegar, salt, sugar and other condiments into a bowl
  • Stir the poured condiments and lotus root chunks evenly, ready to eat
