Sweet macro hearts | Just A Pinch Recipes image

Sooo yummy, you don't need to make heart shapes, just round shapes.. it tastes the same :-). I have several amazing recipes with macros.

Prep Time 30 minutes

Cook Time 15 minutes

Number Of Ingredients 4

7 ounce(s) marzipan
1 pound(s) sugar
2-3 - egg whites
3 tablespoon(s) flour

Steps:

  • Grate the marzipan and mix it with sugar.
  • Add the egg whites little by little. When the mixture is nice and soft - not too thin then add the flour.
  • Pour the mixture in small shapes or one big shape - silicone is a good choise. Bake at 350 F for 15-17 minutes. You can make the macrons in advance but keep them in a close lid cookie jar. Perfect with ice cream, any fresh fruit, dipped in chocolate... and Danish apple cake :-)

Whisk together all of the dry ingredients in a bowl until fully incorporated. In a separate bowl whisk together the wet ingredients. Add the dry ingredients to the wet and whisk until very smooth. Pour the batter into a greased cake pan. Bake for 30-35 minutes until toothpick comes out clean in the center of the cake.
