3 tablespoons butter
14 ounces whole-grain Oats
2 tablespoons Almond slivers
0.5 Vanilla bean (seeds)
1.5 ounces Pumpkin seed
3 tablespoons chopped, peeled Walnut
3 tablespoons Maple syrup
3 tablespoons water
2 ounces dried, chopped Cranberry
1.5 ounces dried, chopped Apricot

Steps:

  • Preheat an oven to 275°F. Line two baking sheets with parchment paper. 
  • Melt the butter in a pot. Mix all the ingredients except for the cranberries and apricots in a large bowl. Mix the butter in and toss to combine. Spread the mixture evenly on the baking sheets. Place in the oven and cook for 35 minutes, until golden brown. Stir the mixture several times during the cooking time. Remove from the oven, let cool, and mix in the fruit. Place in a large jar to keep fresh.

2 1/2 cups Whole Wheat Flour
1 cup Blueberries
3/4 tsp Cinnamon
3/4 cup Granola
1 cup Hot Water
2 Eggs

Steps:

  • Preheat Oven to 350° degrees Fahrenheit.
  • Add whole wheat flour, granola and cinnamon in large mixing bowl. Stir until mixed.
  • Add eggs and about ½ cup hot water. Mix well.
  • Continue adding water until a dough like consistency.
  • Sprinkle a little flour on the counter and place the dough ball onto the surface, kneading it for about 3 minutes. If it's too sticky, you can place it into the freezer for about 30 minutes to chill.
  • Roll the dough out to approximately ¼ inch thickness, then cut with the cookie cutters. Hint: Dip the cookie cutter into the flour on the counter for easier cutting.
  • Place on parchment paper on a cookie sheet or a lightly greased cookie sheet.
  • Bake for 20-minutes. Check for doneness.
  • Store in an air-tight container.
