Warm fluffy pancakes topped with your choice of fruit and sugar-free syrup. A great weight-loss breakfast with only 3 ingredients. This recipe supports the Decision-free, Healthy Solutions, and Phase 2 diet plan. This recipe makes 1 serving at 345 calories.

1 Multigrain Hot Cereal
1 70 Plus Vanilla
1/2 cup water (1/4-1/3 cup for waffles)

Steps:

  • 1. Blend Multigrain Hot Cereal mix in a food processor until flour consistency. Then mix with 70 Plus shake powder and stir to combine. 
  • 2. Add in water and stir until you get a thick batter consistency. (add less water for a thicker batter to make waffles).
  • 3. Heat a pan (or waffle iron) over medium heat and spray with cooking spray. Pour batter, and cook until golden brown, flip, and cook other side for 2-4 minutes until golden brown. Makes about 4 pancakes. 
  • 4. Top with sugar-free maple syrup, warm fruit, or fresh fruit.

2 cups frozen peas and carrots
1/2 cup celery (chopped)
1/2 cup onion (chopped)
1 cup hot water
1 HMR 500 Chicken Soup
1 tsp poultry seasoning
1 HMR Whole Grain Medley with Chicken Entree

Steps:

  • 1. Heat a pan over medium heat and add frozen peas, carrots, celery, and onion. Saute for about 4-5 min until soft.
  • 2. Mix the hot water, chicken soup and the poultry seasoning to make a sauce.
  • 3. Dice the chicken strips from the entree and mix with the cooked vegetables and sauce.
  • 4. Spray a small casserole dish with non-stick cooking spray and add the veggie/entree mixture.
  • 5. Microwave 3-4 minutes until warm, or bake in oven for 30 minutes at 350 degrees.
