This is adapted from a Taste of Home recipe. I made this one year for Thanksgiving, and it quickly became a special request for every Thanksgiving and Christmas dinner.

2 (16 ounce) packages frozen corn
1 cup water
1/3 cup butter, cubed
1 tablespoon minced fresh parsley
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon dill weed
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
1/4 teaspoon italian seasoning
1/8 teaspoon dried thyme

Steps:

  • Combine corn and water in a large saucepan and bring to a boil.
  • Reduce heat, cover and simmer until corn is tender, about 5 to 6 minutes.
  • Drain; stir in the remaining ingredients.

3 tablespoons butter or margarine
1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley
1 tablespoon chopped fresh chives
1 tablespoon chopped fresh thyme leaves
1/4 teaspoon salt

Steps:

  • Place corn in colander or strainer. Hold under cold running water in sink until thawed; drain well.
  • In 12-inch skillet, heat butter over medium-high heat until foamy. Add corn and remaining ingredients; cook 3 to 5 minutes, stirring frequently, until corn is thoroughly heated.
