Ingredients

3 tablespoons butter or margarine, softened
3 tablespoons finely sliced fresh chives
1 1/2 teaspoons chopped fresh or 1/2 teaspoon dried thyme leaves
1 teaspoon grated lemon peel
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon pepper
3 cups fresh cauliflower florets (about 1 lb)
3 cups fresh broccoli florets (7 oz)

Steps:

In 4-quart saucepan, heat 2 quarts water to boiling over high heat. Meanwhile, in small bowl, stir together butter, chives, thyme, lemon peel, salt and pepper until blended; set aside.
Add cauliflower to boiling water in saucepan; cook 2 minutes. Add broccoli; cook 2 to 3 minutes longer or until vegetables are crisp-tender. Drain; return to saucepan.
Add butter mixture to vegetables in saucepan; toss to coat.

Ingredients

2 tablespoons finely chopped shallots
1/4 cup dry white wine
3 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
6 tablespoons cold butter
1 tablespoon chopped fresh dill
1 tablespoon finely chopped fresh chives
1/8 teaspoon pepper
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
1 lb. salmon fillets, cut into 4 pieces
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon pepper

Steps:

Heat gas or charcoal grill. In small saucepan, combine shallots, wine and 3 tablespoons lemon juice. Bring to a boil over medium-high heat. Reduce heat to medium; cook 5 to 7 minutes or until mixture is reduced to about 2 to 3 tablespoons, stirring occasionally.
Remove from heat. Stir in cold butter 1 tablespoon at a time until each is well blended. Stir in dill, chives and 1/8 teaspoon pepper. Cover to keep warm.
In small bowl, combine oil and 1 tablespoon lemon juice; mix well. Brush over salmon fillets. Sprinkle with salt and 1/4 teaspoon pepper.
When grill is heated, place salmon, skin side up, on gas grill over medium heat or on charcoal grill 4 to 6 inches from medium coals. Cook 8 to 10 minutes or until fish flakes easily with fork, turning once and brushing occasionally with any remaining oil mixture. If necessary, reheat butter sauce over very low heat, stirring constantly. Serve salmon with butter sauce.

Put the Philadelphia in to a bowl with 3 tbsp of milk and the parmesan/pecorino cheese and half of the bacon bits, and mix together well. Then add the mushrooms and stir through.

Once the pasta is cooked drain it off into a colander, keeping some cooking water aside for later, then tip it back in to the pan and add the cheese mixture. Stir well together to combine and heat everything through. If the sauce is too thick, add a little of the cooking water. Then serve, adding the chopped bacon bits and an optional garnish of parsley.
