3 Haas avocados, halved, seeded and peeled
1 lime, juiced
1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
1/2 teaspoon ground cumin
1/2 teaspoon cayenne
1/2 medium onion, diced
1/2 jalapeno pepper, seeded and minced
2 Roma tomatoes, seeded and diced
1 tablespoon chopped cilantro
1 clove garlic, minced

Steps:

  • In a large bowl place the scooped avocado pulp and lime juice, toss to coat. Drain, and reserve the lime juice, after all of the avocados have been coated. Using a potato masher add the salt, cumin, and cayenne and mash. Then, fold in the onions, tomatoes, cilantro, and garlic. Add 1 tablespoon of the reserved lime juice. Let sit at room temperature for 1 hour and then serve.

3 medium ripe avocados, peeled and cubed
1 garlic clove, minced
1/4 to 1/2 teaspoon salt
1 small onion, finely chopped
1 to 2 tablespoons lime juice
1 tablespoon minced fresh cilantro
2 medium tomatoes, seeded and chopped, optional
1/4 cup mayonnaise, optional

Steps:

  • Mash avocados with garlic and salt. Stir in remaining ingredients, adding tomatoes and mayonnaise if desired.

GUACAMOLE | ALLRECIPES
I got the idea from ofther recipes that i had read. This was my first time making guac. My wife doesn't like guac. She's used to getting it from Mexican resteraunts, but she loved mine. It was a little chunkier than you would get from a resteraunt. I think that makes it better. I reckon i'll be on guac making duty quite often now. Great Recipe.
