I can't remember where i got this recipe, but we all love it. It makes a ton so i bring it to family gatherings often. It isn't pretty until it is done cooking in the oven. But it is definitely good!

Number Of Ingredients 9

1 lb ground beef
1 teaspoon basil
1/4 teaspoon pepper
1/8 teaspoon garlic powder or 1 clove garlic, minced
1 can tomato soup
1 can cream of mushroom soup
1 1/4 cups water
6 ounces mozzarella cheese, shredded
4 cups macaroni, cooked al dente

Steps:

  • In skillet over medium-high heat, cook beef, basil, pepper and garlic until meat is browned.
  • Stir in soups, water and 1 cup of the cheese.
  • Add macaroni.
  • Pour into a 2 quart baking dish and cover with remaining cheese.
  • Bake at 400 degrees for 25 minutes.

If you’re looking for an opportunity to treat yourself after a hard day’s work, this ground beef and mozzarella pizza is the perfect idea. Ground beef is the star topping here. Cook it in tomato sauce, with a light hint of basil. Also, this is a pizza after all, so don’t skimp on the mozzarella!

Number Of Ingredients 12

7 ounces of pizza dough, thawed
1 tablespoon vegetable oil
1 onion, chopped
7 ounces of ground beef
salt
pepper
½ cup tomato sauce
4 basil leaves
2 garlic cloves, crushed
1 spring onion, chopped
¼ cup mozzarella, shredded

Steps:

  • Heat the vegetable oil in a skillet over medium heat.
  • Add the chopped onion and cook it until softens.
  • Add the ground beef and season it with salt and pepper.
  • Add half of the tomato sauce, basil leaves, and garlic. Cook the beef mixture for 7-8 minutes. When is cooked through, set it aside.
  • Preheat the oven to 430°F/220°C.
  • Dust your working space with flour. Knead the dough for 2-3 minutes.
  • Level it with a rolling pin until thin.
  • Line a baking tray with parchment paper and place the dough on it.
  • Evenly spread the remaining tomato sauce over the surface of the dough.
  • Top it with ground beef mixture, spring onion, and mozzarella.
  • Slide the tray into the oven and bake it for the next 15 minutes.
