Steps:
- Squeeze the juice from 4 of the grapefruit (you should have about 2 cups) then slice the remaining grapefruit into half moon slices and set aside for garnish. Mix together sugar and water in a small saucepan over medium heat, stirring until sugar is dissolved. Cook for 5 minutes then remove from heat and allow to cool.
- Place 1 half moon of grapefruit and some ice into each glass. Pour half a bottle of beer (about 6 ounces) into a tall glass then add 2 ounces of grapefruit juice and 1/2 ounce of the simple syrup mixture. Stir and serve.

I am keging soon and plan to add a gallon of grapefruit juice to the keg (lost about 1 gallon volume, so replacing with juice). So, will be more of a Shandy IPA with 4 gallons IPA and 1 gallon grapefruit juice.
