Done in under 10 minutes, we promise this Desi~licious golden milk latte will become your new favourite way to enjoy coffee. A twist to the regular golden milk, this warm and soothing elixir, is packed with nourishing nutrients and is super simple to make.

Number Of Ingredients 7

2 cups milk (any milk of your choice)
1 tsp turmeric powder
2 tsp maple syrup (or another sweetener of choice)
1 inch cinnamon stick
1/2 inch ginger (fresh)
1 tsp instant coffee granules
pinch black pepper

Steps:

  • Place all ingredients, except coffee granules, into a small saucepan. Heat on a medium-high heat whilst whisking with a balloon whisk. This will ensure you get a nice thick froth
  • Heat until the milk mixture is very hot, but not boiling
  • Add the coffee granules and stir well to mix well
  • Pour into two cups, sprinkle with pepper and enjoy

2 cups So Delicious® Dairy Free Original Coconutmilk Creamer
2 teaspoons coconut oil
1 teaspoon ground turmeric
1 dash ground black pepper
Agave nectar or maple syrup, to taste
1 cup freshly brewed hot coffee
1 tablespoon Golden Coconutmilk Cream, or to taste (above)

Steps:

  • Combine the Coconutmilk Creamer, coconut oil, turmeric, and black pepper in a saucepan and gently heat through.
  • Sweeten to taste with agave or maple syrup.
  • To make the latte, add the Golden Coconutmilk Creamer to hot coffee, or espresso Americano to taste.
  • Foam the coffee mixture with a steam or hand wand.

  • Add the milk to a medium saucepan over medium heat. Bring to a simmer, stirring frequently, being careful it does not scorch on the bottom. Then, add the sugar, cinnamon, ginger, turmeric, cardamom, allspice, nutmeg and black pepper. Whisk to combine. When the spices are dissolved and the milk is steaming, remove from the heat and serve. At this point you can mix in the instant espresso powder according to the package instructions if desired.
