When I was young, a dessert shop that only sold donuts opened near the entrance of the school, and the dessert window was filled with a dazzling array of donuts. Every time I go home from school, I will coquettishly tugging at the corners of my mother's clothes, saying that I am hungry. Then my mother walked me to the bun shop next to the donuts without saying anything, and bought me two big meat buns. I took the bun with a reluctant look, and took a bite wronged. Well, this is a doughnut-flavored bun. Later, when I grew up, I talked about it with my mother and realized that my mother really didn't know that I wanted to eat a donut, thinking I was really hungry. I was not happy to give two big meat buns to me, thinking it was not enough to eat. Speaking of it now, I can't laugh or cry. There are several flavors of doughnuts. The earliest doughnuts were kneaded with dough and deep-fried and then coated with sugar. To the back, there is an oven version of the doughnut, and then stick with various flavors of chocolate sauce. And my favorite is the classic white sugar flavor. Although deep frying is not healthy, it's okay to eat something delicious once or twice occasionally.

200 g Flour
3 grams yeast
20 grams White sugar
1 piece egg
10gram Corn oil
150 grams milk

Steps:

  • Add yeast to the milk and stir well.
  • Add sugar to the flour and mix it evenly with chopsticks. Distribute the sugar and flour evenly.
  • Beat in an egg.
  • Stir well with chopsticks.
  • Then pour the yeast milk that has just been adjusted into the flour.
  • Stir it into cotton wool with chopsticks.
  • Add corn oil.
  • Knead it into a smooth dough, cover it and let it rise in a warm place to double its size. (I placed it in the corner of the balcony. The room temperature was 28 degrees that day, and it happened to be raining outside. The air humidity was also quite high)
  • This is fermented dough.
  • Show everyone the internal organization of the dough.
  • Take out the dough and flatten it slightly to exhaust.
  • Knead the dough again and knead it into a strip. Cut the dough into equal parts.
  • Then round the dough one by one.
  • Sprinkle some flour on the backing board to prevent sticking, and slightly flatten the round dough with your palm.
  • Cover with plastic wrap and proof until the dough swells. Just pick it up softly.
  • Stick the flour with your fingers, poke a small hole in the middle of the dough, and turn it clockwise to form the hole.
  • Pour more oil into the pot, bring it to a boil until the oil temperature is 70% hot, and put the dough in the pot. Turn to medium heat and explode slowly.
  • Fry it until both sides are golden in color, then you can remove and drain the oil.
  • Prepare caster sugar on the plate.
  • Put the fried doughnuts on top of the sugar while it is hot, and just stick the sugar evenly on both sides.

These are by far the best baked doughnuts with cinnamon sugar topping I have found! You will need a doughnut baking pan for this recipe.

nonstick cooking spray
½ cup white sugar
? cup butter, softened
¼ teaspoon ground nutmeg
¼ teaspoon salt
1 egg
1?½ cups all-purpose flour
2?½ teaspoons baking powder
½ cup milk
½ cup butter, melted
? cup white sugar
2 teaspoons ground cinnamon

Steps:

  • Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Spray 9 cavities of a 12-cavity doughnut pan with cooking spray.
  • Combine sugar, butter, nutmeg, and salt in a medium bowl; beat with an electric mixer until well combined. Add egg and mix until incorporated.
  • Combine flour and baking powder in a small bowl. Add flour mixture to butter mixture in batches, alternating with milk, beating batter briefly after each addition. Pour batter into a large resealable plastic bag. Snip off one corner of the bag and pipe batter into the 9 prepared cavities of the doughnut pan, filling each halfway.
  • Bake doughnuts in the preheated oven until a knife inserted into the center comes out clean, 7 to 9 minutes.
  • While the doughnuts are baking, place melted butter for topping in a shallow bowl. Mix together 2/3 cup sugar and cinnamon in another shallow bowl. Roll warm doughnuts in melted butter and then in cinnamon sugar to coat.
