Fernance is a small French pastry with a lot of history. The original Financier was made very much like a reduced version of gold bars. It was a refreshment invented by a cake maker near the Paris Stock Exchange. It is said to allow those financiers on the stock exchange to eat quickly without staining their suits. And the pastry itself is also made into gold bars, which has a lot of meaning

Today's Fernanxue has a variety of shapes and tastes. But for desserts, I still prefer the original flavor. I tried to make Fernanches with lotus molds, it looks very pleasing!

Number Of Ingredients 5

85 grams butter
47 grams Corn oil
43 grams Low powder
80 grams Powdered sugar
4 protein

Steps:

  • All the ingredients are spare
  • Set the oven to 150 degrees, roast the corn flour for 5 minutes, take it out and let cool
  • Soften the butter, put it in a non-stick pan, simmer on a low heat until it boils, continue to cook for 2 minutes, until the butter becomes a little brown, put it to warm and set aside
  • Beat the egg whites with a whisk until small bubbles
  • Mix the cold corn flour, powdered sugar, and low-gluten flour through a sieve. Put in egg whites
  • Use a manual whisk to mix well, then pour in warm butter and continue to mix well
  • Brush the mold with melted butter
  • Pour the prepared batter into the mold until it is nine minutes full
  • Preheat the oven at 160 degrees, bake the middle and lower layers for 30 minutes
  • Bake the surface until slightly yellow, let the baked cake cool slightly, and release it upside down
