1 Pound Laura's Lean Ground Beef
1/2 Sweet onion
2 Cloves Garlic
1/2 Cup Ketchup
2 Tablespoons Brown sugar
1 Tablespoon Mustard
1 Teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
Refrigerated biscuits
1 Cup Shredded cheddar cheese
Salt and pepper to taste

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 400 degrees F.
  • Pour the olive oil into a pan over medium heat. Sauté the onion and garlic with salt and pepper until soft and fragrant.
  • Add in the ground beef and cook through, until well browned and crisp. Add some more salt and pepper.
  • Stir in ketchup, brown sugar, mustard, and Worcestershire sauce. Heat through.
  • Press each biscuit into the bottom and up the sides of a greased muffin cup.
  • Spoon beef mixture into cups; top with cheese.
  • Bake for 15 minutes, until bubbly and golden. Enjoy!

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 350° and grease a muffin tin with cooking spray. Flatten burger bun halves to 1/4 inch thick with a rolling pin and place one half cut-side up in each prepared muffin cup. In a large skillet over medium-high heat, heat oil. Add onion and cook, stirring, until soft, about 5 minutes. Add ground beef and cook, breaking up meat with a wooden spoon, until no longer pink, about 6 minutes. Drain fat. Return beef mixture to skillet and season with garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Divide ground beef mixture among burger bun cups and top each with a cheddar cheese square. Bake until cheese is melty and buns are golden, about 10 minutes. Drizzle cups with ketchup and mustard, top with a pickle, and sprinkle with sesame seeds.
