"This recipe is simple, mild yet really tasty. I make it alot and it rarely bothers my sensitive stomach."

Number Of Ingredients 4

1 cup jasmine rice (any white rice works)
1 can condensed mushroom soup
1 can canned mushrooms undrained
1 3/4 cup water

Steps:

  • "Boil 1 3/4 cup of water. Stir in 1 cup of rice. Once at boil, cover and reduce heat and simmer for 9 minutes. After simmering, use tongs or fork to fluff up rice and let sit for about 2 minutes. Add mushroom soup and can of mushrooms. Mix and reheat to desired temperature. Serve immediately. Enjoy!"

10/07/2014 · My theory is that it is a bacterial growth that feeds on rice and irritates the stomach causing GERD. It happens with white rice and not necessarily wholegrain or rice that is difficult to digest or breakdown. For me, I think it started from habitually eating leftover rice – even rice that had been refrigerated properly after cooking.
