Juicy (freshly squeezed orange, grapefruit and lime) and refreshing slightly salty tequila invigorated with sparkling grapefruit soda. Wetting the porous clay exterior of the Cantaritos pot not only improves its appearance but as the water evaporates from the outside so it helps keep the contents cold.

60 ml Tequila reposado
45 ml Orange juice (freshly squeezed)
22.5 ml Grapefruit juice (pink)
15 ml Lime juice (freshly squeezed)
2 Salt
60 ml Grapefruit soda - Pink

Steps:

If using a Cantaritos clay pot (instead of a collins glass) submerge the pot in cold water to clean the inside and wet the outside clay
POUR ingredients into ice-filled pot or glass and STIR
Consider serving with straws

1/2 medium Lime
Pinch Sea salt
2 ounces reposado tequila
1 ounce freshly-squeezed ruby red grapefruit juice
1 ounce freshly-squeezed orange juice
1/2 ounce freshly squeezed lime juice
ice cubes
chilled Grapefruit Soda
Thinly sliced wheels of limes

Steps:

Rim The Cocktail Glass With Salt (Optional): Press half of a lime along the rim of a cantarito clay cup, a Tom Collins, or highball glass. Then roll the rim into the salt.
Make The Cantarito Cocktail: Combine the 2 ounces of tequila, 1 ounce of grapefruit juice, 1 ounce of orange juice, and 1/2 ounce lime juice in a cocktail shaker. Fill halfway with ice, close, and shake seriously hard until shaker is frosted, about 15 to 20 seconds. Strain the mixture into the salt rimmed glass and fill with ice (we like it crushed but cubes work too). Add the grapefruit soda and slices of fruit for garnish, and serve!
