Chocolate crinkle cookie is an easy, mouthwatering recipe with a rich chocolate flavor. They're soft on the inside, and a little crispy and crackly on the outside.

Number Of Ingredients 9

Unsweetened cocoa powder, 1/2 cup
White sugar, 1 cup
Vegetable Oil, 1/4 cup
Large eggs, 2
pure vanilla extract, 2 tsp
All-purpose flour, 1 cup
Baking powder, 1 tsp
Salt, 1/2 tsp
Confectioner's sugar, 1/4 cup

Steps:

  • Combine cocoa powder, sugar, and oil in a large bowl. Whisk in the eggs one at a time. Stir in the vanilla.
  • In a separate bowl, stir the flour, baking powder, and salt to combine. Fold the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients and mix until just combined. Wrap in cling film, then place the bowl in the fridge for at least four hours.
  • Preheat your oven to 350F. Line two baking sheets with parchment paper. Put the confectioner's sugar in a shallow bowl.
  • Shape the dough into balls. Roll the dough balls through the sugar to coat. Arrange the dough balls on the baking sheet.
  • Bake for 10 to 12 minutes. Remove from oven and leave to cool on the pan for 5 minutes, then place on a rack to cool completely.
