CUMIN POTATO DICED RECIPE - SIMPLE CHINESE FOOD

Cumin potato diced recipe - Simple Chinese Food image

My family loves potatoes. All three of my family love to eat potatoes. So in winter, the potatoes in my kitchen are never broken. They cost only 2 yuan per catty. I can eat 1 sack in a winter, which may not be enough. The most recently made potato in my house is this "cumin potato diced". It is not only a snack, but also a meal, and it can also be used as a snack. No need to deep-fry, healthy, just like eating barbecue. If you also like to eat cumin potatoes, follow me to make them!

Provided by Squirrelfish 77

Total Time 10 minutes

Yield 3

Number Of Ingredients 8

1 piece Big potato
Right amount Cooking oil
1 stage Green onions
5 petals garlic
1 scoop Cumin powder
1 scoop Cumin seeds
1 scoop salt
2 pieces Chives

Steps:

  • Prepare the ingredients you need, and we can start making it! Prepare a big potato, why do you want to prepare a big potato? Because this dish is so delicious, the small potatoes are not enough! You don’t have your share at the table late, don’t blame me for not reminding you! Remove the outer skin of the big potatoes, clean them, and cut them into small squares of about 2 cm. Rinse them twice with clean water to remove the excess starch in the potatoes, and then soak them in clean water for later use.
  • Now we prepare the green onion and garlic slices. Wash the green onions and cut them into slices. Peel the garlic and cut into slices. Prepare some cumin powder and cumin grains. If you like spicy food, you can also prepare some chili noodles.
  • Add appropriate amount of water to the pot, bring to a boil on high heat, put the diced potatoes in and blanch them after the water is boiled.
  • Don't blanch the potatoes for too long. Just blanch them until the potatoes become transparent. About 2 minutes are about the same. Take them out and set aside.
  • Put the non-stick wok on the fire and heat it up. After the pan is heated, put in the right amount of cooking oil. It doesn't need to be too much. The amount is the same as the usual cooking. Because we are not frying, we only need to fry the small potatoes. Oil is healthier.
  • Put the diced potatoes in the pot after the oil is hot. A little oil is enough, it will not stick at all. Turn the potato diced frequently and don't fry them.
  • Fry the potatoes slowly over a medium and small fire until the potatoes are golden in color. It is best to fry them on all sides. I only fry one or two sides. Forgive me for being lazy. Add 1 tablespoon of edible salt and stir fry evenly.
  • The potatoes are fried dry and fragrant, sprinkle with the cumin noodles and cumin we just prepared. For those who like spicy food, you can add chili powder and cooked sesame seeds to make it even more fragrant! Give it a try!
  • It’s only 2 yuan a catty to eat this dish in cold weather. My family can eat 1 sack in winter. It moisturizes the intestines and also has thin legs.
