TOP SECRET RECIPES | POPEYES SPICY MAYONNAISE
The ridiculously popular crispy chicken sandwich at Popeyes comes with your choice of regular mayonnaise or kicked-up spicy mayonnaise. Fortunately, I was able to hack the sandwich before it sold out just a couple weeks after its debut (get the recipe here), but that recipe includes just plain mayonnaise. Recently I had the chance to hack the secret spicy mayonnaise, and I’m glad I did. Popeyes chicken sandwich with regular mayonnaise is crazy good, but with spicy mayonnaise, that sandwich is great. You can use this sauce on a variety of sandwiches and burgers, or as a dip for chicken fingers, nuggets, and fried shrimp. BOILED PEANUTS RECIPE : TASTE OF SOUTHERN
Our step-by-step, photo illustrated recipe for Southern Boiled Peanuts. Grab yourself an ice cold Nehi Soda and lets go to the drive-in. They may take a few hours to complete, but the reward of popping these hot boiled peanuts in your mouth is well worth the wait. Expect the juice to drip down your chin as you eat them, it's just part of the tradition and nothing to be ashamed of.

Steps:
- Place the raw peanuts in a sink of water and swirl them around to remove any dust and dirt.
- Place in a colander, rinse again and let drain.
- Fill a large stockpot about 3/4’s full of water.
- Add the washed raw peanuts.
- Place stockpot on stove and turn the heat to Medium-High, let come to a rolling boil.
- Cover the pot, reduce the heat to Medium and let boil for about 3 hours.
- Add the salt, stir. You can also add hot water if needed at this point.
- Taste the peanuts about every 30 minutes from here on until cooked to desired doneness.
- Remove from heat and let cool.
- Serve warm and enjoy.
