1 tablespoon pickled pepper rings, chopped
2 teaspoons mayonnaise
1-1/2 teaspoons prepared mustard
1-1/2 teaspoons sweet pickle relish
2 kaiser rolls, split
2 bacon strips, cooked and halved
16 spinach leaves
2 slices tomato
4 red onion rings
2 slices provolone cheese
2 ounces sliced lean deli ham

Steps:

  • In a small bowl, combine the pickled peppers, mayonnaise, mustard and relish. Spread over cut sides of each roll. On bottom halves, layer the bacon, spinach, tomato, onion, cheese and ham; replace roll tops.

2 slices bacon
1 teaspoon vegetable oil, or as needed
2 tablespoons milk
1 egg, beaten
1 pinch ground nutmeg
2 slices bread
1 tablespoon whole berry cranberry sauce, or more to taste
2 slices smoked turkey
1 slice provolone cheese
1 tablespoon brown mustard, or more to taste
2 slices cooked ham

Steps:

  • Place bacon in a large skillet and cook over medium-high heat, turning occasionally, until evenly browned, about 10 minutes. Drain bacon slices on paper towels. Break each piece in half.
  • Heat oil in a skillet over medium heat.
  • Whisk milk, egg, and nutmeg together in a shallow bowl. Dip each bread slice in the egg mixture.
  • Cook dipped bread slices in the hot oil until French toast is lightly browned, 2 to 3 minute per side. Transfer French toast to a work surface and turn heat under skillet to medium-low.
  • Spread cranberry sauce over 1 French toast piece and top with turkey, provolone cheese, and bacon. Spread mustard on the other French toast piece and top with ham; lay on top of bacon layer, ham-side down, creating a sandwich.
  • Cook sandwich in the skillet until cheese is melted and sandwich is heated through, 3 to 4 minutes per side.
