Ready in just five minutes, this is our new favorite way to cook shrimp. Add the shrimp to pasta, stir fry or eat them by themselves for a light lunch.

1 pound jumbo shrimp, peeled and deveined
1 tablespoon grapeseed or avocado oil
1-2 garlic cloves, minced
1 tablespoon paprika
salt & pepper to taste
juice from 1 lemon

Steps:

  • Preheat air fryer to 400F.
  • Combine all ingredients in a bowl and toss until well combined.
  • Place shrimp in air fryer in a single layer. You may need to cook in batches if all of the shrimp do not fit.
  • Air fry for 4 minutes, flipping the shrimp halfway through.
  • Drizzle with lemon juice and serve.

This easy Air Fryer Shrimp recipe makes perfect, juicy shrimp, seasoned with a delicious mix of seasonings. Serve the shrimp with a dipping sauce, toss them with pasta or salad, make shrimp tacos, or enjoy with rice and vegetables.

1 pound jumbo shrimp (peeled and deveined)
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 teaspoon smoked paprika (or sweet paprika)
½ teaspoon garlic powder
½ teaspoon dried oregano
¼ teaspoon onion powder
¼ teaspoon dried thyme
¼ teaspoon salt
¼ teaspoon black pepper

Steps:

  • Preheat air fryer to 400° F for 5 minutes.
  • Lay the shrimp out in a single layer on a plate or cutting board. Pat them dry with paper towels.
  • In a small bowl, stir together the paprika, garlic powder, dried oregano, onion powder, dried thyme, salt and pepper.
  • Brush half of the olive oil over the shrimp and sprinkle with half of the seasoning mixture. Gently pat the seasonings into the shrimp with your fingers. Flip the shrimp over and brush with the remaining olive oil. Sprinkle with the rest of the seasonings and pat to help the seasonings stick to the shrimp.
  • Place shrimp in a single layer in the air fryer (cook in batches as needed). Air fry at 400° F for 3 minutes. Flip shrimp over and air fry for 1-5 more minutes, until shrimp are cooked through (they should register at least 145° F on an instant read thermometer). Serve.
