Wuhan cold edamame recipe - Simple Chinese Food image

30g Salad oil
5 grams White sugar
6 grams salt
4 petals garlic
1 piece ginger
A handful pepper
5 chili
2 tablets Bay leaf
2 pcs star anise
2 teaspoons Soy sauce

Steps:

  • Cut the edamame
  • Wash garlic and ginger for later use
  • Chop garlic and ginger, wash the chili and bay leaves and set aside
  • Wash edamame and set aside
  • Add water to the pot and put the bay leaves
  • Put star anise and 5 grams of salt to boil
  • Edamame
  • Boil for about 6 minutes and multiply it with cold water for 2-3 times
  • Add sugar and mix well, then add light soy sauce, pepper, and a small amount of salt, mix well
  • Pour oil in the pan
  • Put a small handful of prickly ash (you can add more prickly ash, you won’t see it after mixing)
  • Add minced ginger, garlic and chili to fry for a fragrant flavor
  • Pour into a bowl of edamame and mix evenly
