Espresso Spice Dry Rub - Simple, Sassy and Scrumptious image

Earthy espresso with sweet brown sugar and spices make up this dry rub great for using on beef or pork.

Number Of Ingredients 8

3/4 cup dark brown sugar
1/2 cup sea salt
1/2 cup espresso powder (I used Illy espresso powder for this recipe)
4 tbsp Black Pepper (ground)
4 tbsp Garlic Powder
2 tbsp Onion Powder
2 tbsp Cayenne Pepper
2 tbsp Smoked Paprika

Steps:

  • In a container, like a mason jar or weck jar place all of the ingredients. Cover and shake well. The dry rub can be stored in a cool place for up to 2 months.

3 cups chocolate chips
1 can sweetened condensed milk (14 ounces)
2 tablespoons butter
2 teaspoons instant espresso powder

Steps:

  • Line an 8"x8" pan with aluminum foil and set aside.
  • In a medium saucepan over medium heat, combine all ingredients. Stir continuously until chocolate chips are fully melted.
  • Remove from heat and transfer to a the lined pan and spread it evenly.
  • Refrigerate for 3+ hours or until fudge is completely firm.
  • Remove fudge from pan and slice into pieces before serving.
