This is a wonderful honey mustard style sauce that can be used on sandwiches, salads, as a dipping sauce for french fries, or pretty much anything and everything. It is great!!!!

Yield 1 Tablespoo, 50 serving(s)

Number Of Ingredients 6

1 gallon mayonnaise
1/2 ounce black pepper
1/2 quart white vinegar
3/4 lb sugar
1/2 cup yellow mustard
water

Steps:

  • Combine the first five ingredients and whisk together.
  • Add water to adjust the consistency. The whale juice should be thinned out a bit to the point that it can easily coat the food which it is being served with.
  • Refrigerate overnight for best results.
  • Enjoy.

This recipe comes from a Tongan cookbook I possess. I am in no way condoning commercial fishing of whale or even the 'scientific' fishing of whale popularised by some countries. However if for some reason you come across a dead whale that has died by more natural or unintentional means...here is what you do with it.

Number Of Ingredients 7

2 lbs whale meat
1/4 cup oil
1/4 cup red wine
1 teaspoon peppercorn
1 cup salt
1 garlic clove, minced
1 small onion, minced

Steps:

  • Combine the oil, vinegar, peppercorns, salt, garlic and onion.
  • Cut the whale into cubes or slices.
  • Marinate in the marinade for 2-3 hours.
  • Cover and place in a 300 deg F oven for 1 hour.
