My grandmother used to have tea parties with my sister and I when we went to visit. A small pkg of jello would make a 6 cup pot of tea and was this little girl's delight!

Ingredients

1 package(s) flavoured jello
4 cup(s) boiling water
2 cup(s) cold water

Steps:

In a medium sized bowl, whisk small package of flavored jello into the boiling water. Stir until completely dissolved.
Add cold water and stir to make the end result cool enough for a child to drink comfortably.
Pour into a large teapot and serve immediately. Enjoy!

I was intrigued by the idea of making jelly out of tea when someone posted a request for recipes. I tried this one, and I like it alot. Obviously, it all depends on the quality of your tea. So far I've only tried this with a very high quality organic chai, and it is SO good! If you find a type of tea that works really well for this, post a review and let us know! Number Of Ingredients 5

Ingredients

1 3/4 cups water
12 tea bags
1/4 cup juice (flavor should compliment the tea flavor)
3 cups sugar
1 (3 ounce) package liquid pectin

Steps:

(If not including juice and using a tea infusion as your only liquid, increase the amount of water to 2 cups.).
Bring water to boil, add tea bags and steep for 30 minutes.
Discard tea bags. Add sugar (and optional juice) to brewed tea and bring to a boil.
Boil for 2 minute stirring.
Remove from heat and add pectin, return to boil and allow to do so for 1 minute.
Skim off any foam.
Pour hot jelly into jars and process for 20 minutes.

Who knows if it works? This is one tasty idea I've had. If you like strong tea then steep the bag longer or use 2 tea bags. I also divvy it into serving sizes using custard cups, but any small vessel will do, I've used coffee cups, too. Cook time is chill time.

In a liquid measuring cup, juice lemons until you get 1/4 cup liquid. Hollow out those and the remaining lemons by inserting the tip of a spoon between the fruit and the rind. Gently work the spoon under the fruit and lift to separate fruit from peel. Place hallowed out lemons on a rimmed baking sheet and set aside. In a small saucepan over high heat, combine water and sugar. Bring water to a boil and stir until sugar is dissolved, then add black tea bags. Turn off heat and steep until dark, 3 to 4 minutes. Return liquid to a simmer, then whisk in lemon juice, vodka and Jell-o mix. Let cool slightly, then carefully pour liquid into lemon halves. Refrigerate until set, about 1 hour. Slice the lemons in half again and serve.
