Found this in Kraft Foods Magazine and sounds easy great for when companies coming. Once I pick up all the ingredients I plan on making it as a dip that's just a little different. Also suggested a substitute of 1 8oz package of chopped crabmeat for the shrimp. Will serve with crackers. Edited to change amount of shrimp to 3/4 pound based on flowers post. Steps:

Spread cream cheese onto bottom of 9-inch pie plate or shallow bowl.
Toss shrimp with cocktail sauce.
Spoon over cream cheese.
Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese and onions.

Ingredients

1 (8 oz.) package cream cheese, at room temperature
1/2 c. bottled cocktail sauce
1 c. frozen cooked extra-small shrimp, thawed and well-drained

Steps:

Place cream cheese in a bowl and cream with a fork. Add cocktail sauce and whisk with a fork until well combined and smooth.
Coarsely chop shrimp, leaving some whole if desired. Fold into cream cheese mixture.
Chill at least two hours to allow flavors to meld. Serve with potato chips, crackers, or vegetables for dipping.
Use your favorite bottled cocktail sauce to prepare this dip. We especially love Heinz Zesty Cocktail Sauce.
