Food-Processor Pizza Dough - Williams Sonoma image

Mixed in a food processor, this dough comes together quickly. Be sure to check the expiration date on the yeast; if it is outdated, the dough will not rise properly.

1 Tbs. active dry yeast
1 tsp. sugar
1 cup warm water (105° to 115°F)
3 cups all-purpose flour
1 tsp. salt
2 Tbs. extra-virgin olive oil

Steps:

  • In a small bowl, dissolve the yeast and sugar in the warm water and let stand until foamy, about 5 minutes.
  • In the bowl of a food processor fitted with the dough blade, combine the flour and salt and process with 3 or 4 pulses. With the motor running on the dough speed, slowly add the yeast mixture, allowing each addition to be absorbed before adding more. Continue processing until the dough forms a ball and cleans the sides of the bowl, about 1 minute, then process for 1 minute more.
  • Coat the inside of a large bowl with the olive oil and place the dough in the bowl. Cover with a clean kitchen towel and let the dough rise in a warm place until doubled in size, about 1 1⁄2 hours. Divide the dough in half and roll out as directed in the pizza recipe.

2 lbs. (1 kg) chicken wings
2 tsp (10 mL) baking powder
1 tsp (5 mL) salt
¼ tsp (1 mL) black pepper
1 tbsp (15 mL) vegetable oil
Oil for spritzing
½ cup (125 mL) butter
⅓ cup (75 mL) hot sauce

Steps:

  • Pat the wings dry with paper towels. Combine the wings, baking powder, salt, and pepper in a medium bowl. Let stand for 5 minutes. Add the oil and toss to combine.Spray the Deluxe Air Fryer cooking trays with oil and divide the wings evenly between both cooking trays. Position on the top and middle racks.Turn the wheel to select the AIR FRY setting; press the wheel to select. Turn the wheel to adjust the time to 30 minutes. Press the wheel to start. Switch the trays halfway through cooking (you’ll hear beeps as a reminder). Meanwhile, combine the butter and hot sauce in a small saucepan and slowly melt the butter over medium-low heat, stirring occasionally.When the timer is up, remove the wings from the air fryer. Toss the wings in the sauce or serve on the side.
