A twist on classic sliders, these stuffed biscuits are filled with turkey, bacon and Swiss cheese for a perfect appetizer at your next gathering, or a fun meal for the whole family.

1 can (16.3 oz) refrigerated Pillsbury™ Grands!™ Southern Homestyle Buttermilk Biscuits (8 Count)
8 slices Swiss cheese (1 oz each), cut into quarters (8 oz)
8 oz deli sliced turkey
8 slices cooked bacon, cut into fourths
2 tablespoons butter, melted
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder

Steps:

  • Heat oven to 350°F. Spray 13x9-inch (3-quart) glass baking dish with cooking spray.
  • Cut biscuits in half crosswise to make 2 halves. Press each piece into 5x2 1/2-inch rectangle. Place 1 piece of cheese on one half of each rectangle. Add layer of turkey, 2 pieces bacon, and top with another piece of cheese.
  • Fold dough over filling (do not seal), and place in baking dish in 4 rows by 4 rows. Bake 30 to 34 minutes or until biscuits are cooked through and golden brown on top.
  • In small bowl, mix melted butter and garlic powder; brush on top of warm biscuits. Serve warm.

16 1/3 ounces pillsbury buttermilk biscuits
30 pepperoni slices
8 ounces cheese, cubed
1 egg, beaten
2 tablespoons grated parmesan cheese
1 tablespoon italian seasoning
2 teaspoons garlic powder
marinara sauce, for dipping

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Flatten biscuits; layer a pepperoni slice, cheese square and another pepperoni slice on biscuit. Gather edges and pinch closed at top. Place rolls in a small greased pan. Brush tops with egg, sprinkle with Italian seasoning, garlic powder, and parmesan cheese. Bake for 20 minutes. Serve with warmed marinara sauce.
  • Tip: to keep the top from browning too much before baking is complete, cover with tinfoil.
  • Tip #2: If you prefer more filling and less dough in each roll, then cut each biscuit of dough in half lengthwise through the middle (like a hamburger bun) and make each roll using half a biscuit rather than an entire biscuit. The dough cuts best using a serrated knife (bread knife) when the dough has barely been pulled from the fridge and is still chilled. I prefer this way.
