BAKED SALMON - LOCAL STYLE | Just A Pinch Recipes image

All time favorite dish for potlucks here in Hawaii. There is never any left to take home! :+)

Number Of Ingredients 7

3 pound(s) filet of salmon
5 - lup chong - chinese sausage or imitation crab meat
1 - round onion - thinly sliced
3 cup(s) mayonnaise
2 cup(s) bread crumbs
1 cup(s) parmesan cheese, grated
- pepper to taste

Steps:

  • Place salmon filets in large baking pan.
  • Layer lup chong and sliced onions over the filets.
  • Cover with mayonnaise, breadcrumb and parmesan cheese.
  • Cover the pan with foil.
  • Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes, then remove the foil and bake for 15 more minutes or until the cheese is brown and melted.
  • Remove from oven and let sit for 5 to 10 minutes. Serve with hot rice. Enjoy! <><

Dec 01, 2000 · Directions: Place filet in a large baking pan. Layer lup chong and onions over filet; cover with mayonnaise and sprinkle with cheese. Cover with foil and bake in electric oven at 375°F for 45 minutes. Remove foil, increase oven temperature to 400°F, and continue cooking for 15 minutes or until top is brown. Makes 8 to 10 servings.
