Steps:
- In a cocktail shaker WITHOUT ice, combine the bourbon, Licor 43, simple syrup, and the egg.
- Shake all that up without ice to aerate it (this is called a “dry shake”). Add ice and shake again for about 15-20 seconds, for a “wet shake” (to chill it down).
- Strain into a rocks glass, without ice. Garnish with grated nutmeg.
