I discovered this easy way to make moist, tender pork chops by accident. I haven't made my pork chops any other way since!

1 lb boneless pork loin chops (about 4) or 1 lb pork chop (about 4)
lemon pepper seasoning
2 tablespoons canola oil

Steps:

  • Season THAWED pork chops with Lemon pepper seasoning, rubbing into the meat on each side.
  • You can season the meat as liberally as you would like.
  • Heat the oil in a medium non-stick skillet over medium heat.
  • Add the pork chops and cook until golden and tender, about 6-10 minutes per side, depending on the thickness of the chops.
  • Lemon Pepper seasoning is wonderful on pork chops and makes them VERY tender and moist.
  • ENJOY!

1 cup water
3 tbsp lemon juice
1 tsp lemon zest
1/2 tbsp rice vinegar
1 tbsp sugar
2 tsp salt
1 tbsp cornstarch
1 tbsp fresh black pepper
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp dried white onions
1/4 cup pine nuts
***Ingredients For The Pork Chops
8 (6oz) boneless pork chops
2 tbsp olive oil
1/2 tbsp salt
1 tsp black pepper
2 tsp lime juice

Steps:

  • ***Directions For The Sauce
  • Use your food processor to ground up the pine nuts
  • Then combine them with the water, lemon juice, and vinegar in a medium sauce pan and bring to a light simmer on medium low heat
  • Whisk the sugar, salt, fresh black pepper, and garlic powder into the sauce pan and simmer for 5 minutes
  • Then add in the cornstarch and dried white onion and whisk again
  • Remove the heat and allow the sauce to cool and rest for 15 minutes
  • ***Directions For The Pork Chops
  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees F
  • Pat the meat down with paper towels to remove extra moisture
  • Sprinkle them with salt, pepper, and a splash of lime juice
  • Bring a cast iron skillet to a medium high heat before placing pork chops in the pan (4 at a time is good)
  • Sear the meat for 5 minutes per side then put the meat in the oven for 15 minutes
