KUNG PAO CHICKEN RECIPE | ALLRECIPES

Kung Pao Chicken Recipe | Allrecipes image

Spicy chicken with peanuts, similar to what is served in Chinese restaurants. It is easy to make, and you can be as sloppy with the measurements as you want. They reduce to a nice, thick sauce. Substitute cashews for peanuts, or bamboo shoots for the water chestnuts. You can't go wrong! Enjoy!

KUNG PAO....NOT CHICKEN, IT'S KUNG PAO CABBAGE TIME!
Apr 29, 2020 · By the way, don't assume that kung pao cabbage carries the same flavor profile as kung pao chicken. It's not as heavily seasoned and coated with gooey sauce, but rather light, a wee bit sourish with a tingling sensation from the Sichuan peppercorn. Not as spicy as it looks also. Consider it a fun change from the plain cabbage stir-fry.
