INSTANT SANGRIA RECIPE | COCKTAIL & TEA INFUSION RECIPE ...

Instant Sangria Recipe | Cocktail & Tea Infusion Recipe ... image

2,000 years ago, the Romans were venturing along the Iberian Peninsula and planted vineyards throughout their journey. This was because drinking water was generally unsafe and needed to be diluted with alcohol. To cover the terrible taste, mixtures of herbs and spices were thrown in to the dark colored drink and became the first sangrias.According to official accounts, the US was introduced to sangria in 1964 at the New York World's far by the Taberna Madrid kiosk from Spain. Since then, Americans have loved and embraced this delicious and fruity beverage. Sangria is my favorite fruit.

Total Time 5 minutes

Prep Time 5 minutes

Number Of Ingredients 5

1 Aperiteaf sangria pyramid tea bag
4 oz of red wine
Sugar (optional)
Ice (optional)
Chopped fruits (optional, for garnish only)

Steps:

  • Mix 4 oz of your favorite red wine (substitute with fruit juice for mocktail).
  • Steep tea bag in mixture for 5+ minutes. A longer steeping time will increase flavor intensity. Discard tea bag after steeping. Stir until mixture is combined.

  • Add sugar as desired. Recommend sugar amount: 2.5 tsp.
  • Top with chopped fruit as garnish. Enjoy! ??
