Steps:

• Pre-heat oven to 400 degrees. Mix cream cheese and chopped jalapenos in a small bowl. Drop 1/2 inch balls onto a wax paper-lined plate. Place cream cheese balls into the freezer while you prepare puff pastry (about 15 minutes).
• Unfold sheets of puff pastry and roll over with a rolling pin to remove creases.
• Cut each sheet in half, then in half again, and so on until you have 32 squares.
• Place each square into a greased mini muffin cup. Arrange so corners a pointed up. Bake at 400 degrees for 5 minutes.
• Place one cream cheese ball into each pastry cup. Push in if the pastry has begun to puff.
• Return to oven and bake an additional 8 - 10 minutes or until pastry is golden brown.
• Remove pastries from the tin and immediately top with 1/2 teaspoon pepper jelly. Serve warm.

• In a medium bowl, cream together the butter and sugar. Stir in the vanilla. Combine the flour and cocoa, add to the flour mixture, mix until all of the flour is absorbed. Finally, stir in the pecans. Cover and refrigerate dough for at least 1 hour.
• Preheat oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C). Unwrap chocolate kisses. Mold about 1 tablespoon of dough around each chocolate kiss. Place 1 1/2 inches apart onto an ungreased cookie sheet.
• Bake for 10 to 12 minutes in the preheated oven, or until set. Cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before removing to a wire rack to cool completely. Roll cooled cookies in confectioners' sugar.
