Dill makes a difference! This ham salad with dill pickle is great for full sandwiches, and can also be used for tea sandwiches or as a snack spread on crackers or chips. It is best with deli ham that is cooked rather than smoked or honey-baked.

¾ cup mayonnaise
3 tablespoons minced dill pickle
4?½ teaspoons Dijon mustard
¾ teaspoon hot pepper sauce (such as Tabasco®), or to taste

Steps:

  • Stir ham, mayonnaise, dill pickle, Dijon mustard, and hot pepper sauce together in a bowl.

These easy, cheesey baked sandwiches have a delightful and delicious buttery onion topping.

Number Of Ingredients 7

12 petite bakery rolls
1 lb sliced deli cooked ham
1 lb sliced Swiss cheese
1/4 cup butter
1 cup diced onion
1/2 teaspoon ground mustard
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce

Steps:

  • Heat oven to 350°F. Line 13x9-inch pan with foil.
  • Split rolls; place bottoms in pan. Top each evenly with ham and cheese. Cover each with top of roll.
  • In 1-quart saucepan, melt butter. Add onion, Worcestershire sauce and mustard; cook until onion is soft. Spoon over top of sandwiches.
  • Bake 15 to 20 minutes or until cheese is melted.
