Ingredients

1 (10 3/4 ounce) can cream of mushroom soup
3/4 cup milk
1/8 teaspoon black pepper
2 (9 ounce) packages French style green beans, thawed
1 1/3 cups French-fried onions, divided

Steps:

Combine soup, milk and pepper in a 1 1/2 -quart baking dish; stir until blended.
Stir in beans and 2/3 cup French Fried Onions.
Bake at 350°F for 30 minutes or until hot. Stir.
Sprinkle with remaining 2/3 cup onions.
Bake 5 minutes or until onions are golden.

2 (14.5 ounce) cans green beans, drained
1 (10.75 ounce) can condensed cream of mushroom soup
1 (6 ounce) can French fried onions
1 cup shredded Cheddar cheese

Steps:

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
Place green beans and soup in a large microwave-safe bowl. Mix well and heat in the microwave on HIGH until warm (3 to 5 minutes). Stir in 1/2 cup of cheese and heat mixture for another 2 to 3 minutes. Transfer green bean mixture to a casserole dish and sprinkle with French fried onions and remaining cheese.
Bake in a preheated 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) oven until the cheese melts and the onions just begin to brown.

Stir in garlic and cook until fragrant, 1 minute, then transfer mixture to green bean bowl. In same skillet over medium heat, melt remaining 4 tablespoons butter. Whisk in flour and cook until golden, about 2 minutes. Gradually whisk in milk and season with salt and pepper. Bring to a simmer and cook until thickened, about 4 minutes. Remove from heat, then add green bean mixture and toss until even combined. Bake until warmed through and bubbling, about 30 minutes. Top with fried onions and bake 5 minutes more.
