Total Time 1 hours 45 minutes

Prep Time 35 minutes

Cook Time 10 minutes

Yield 4 to 6 servings

Number Of Ingredients 24

1/4 cup soy sauce
1/4 cup oyster sauce
1 tablespoon minced fresh ginger
1 tablespoon minced garlic
1 tablespoon sesame oil
1 pound pork tenderloin
1/4 cup sweet and sour sauce
4 tablespoons canola oil
1 tablespoon minced fresh ginger
1/2 cup diced red bell pepper
1/2 cup diced yellow bell pepper
1 cup diced red onion
1/2 cup thinly sliced green cabbage
1/2 cup thinly sliced snap peas
1/2 cup peeled, diced carrot
1/2 cup diced celery
1 tablespoon minced garlic
6 cups short-grain white rice, cooked and cooled
3 eggs, beaten
1/4 cup soy sauce
1/4 cup oyster sauce
1 tablespoon sesame oil
1/2 cup chopped green onion
2 tablespoons toasted sesame seeds

Steps:

  • Pork: In medium bowl, add soy and oyster sauce, ginger and garlic, and sesame oil. Add pork and let marinate for 1 hour in the refrigerator.
  • Heat grill to medium-high, and grill pork on both sides until done. Heat remaining marinade to 165 degrees F and use to baste meat as it cooks. When meat is almost cooked through, glaze both sides with sweet and sour sauce and let finish cooking while sauce caramelizes on meat. Remove from grill, allow to stand for 10 minutes, and cut into 1/2-inch pieces.
  • Rice: While pork is standing, heat oil in wok or large skillet on high heat until oil almost begins to smoke. Add ginger, as well as all vegetables except garlic. Cook for 3 minutes, or until vegetables are cooked, then add garlic. Before garlic browns, add rice and mix rapidly so rice does not stick to sides of wok or pan.
  • Once entire mixture is thoroughly combined, pour beaten eggs over rice and vegetables, and toss again rapidly until all egg is cooked. Add the soy sauce, oyster sauce, and sesame oil. Mix thoroughly and then add pork.
  • Garnish with green onions and sesame seeds. Serve immediately.

PERFECT FRIED PORK CHOPS RECIPE - FOOD.COM
My fried pork chop recipe :) I came up with this after trying many recipes & not really finding the flavor I wanted for my pork chops. I will sometimes skip soaking as I don't always have time. Choose soak time wisely, as the longer they soak the harder it is to keep the breading from falling off due to excess moisture absorbed in the soaking process. I suggest boneless tho as they are easier to tenderize & will require less soak time to keep juicy. Bone in will take longer, but still work with this recipe. Parsley is optional, some people find that it burns too easily so you can omit & the flavor will not change much at all. I personally love this recipe with a side of Louisiana hot sauce for dipping, I find it compliments the flavor perfectly.

  • Cook on each side 4-6 minutes on each side, or until meat is no longer pink inside. Chops with bones will take a bit longer, and we cook them on one side until blood starts to come out of the bone before flipping. If you have a meat thermometer, the inner temperature should be at least 160 degrees F.

STIR-FRIED UDON WITH PORK AND SCALLIONS RECIPE | BON APPéTIT

  • Heat remaining 1 Tbsp. vegetable oil in same skillet over medium-high and add pork, breaking up and spreading across surface of pan with a spatula or tongs. Cook pork, undisturbed, until underside is brown, about 3 minutes. The pork will never brown if you’re fussing with it the whole time, so when we say “undisturbed,” that means keep your paws off it and let the heat of the pan and the pork do their thing. When pork is browned, break up meat into small bits. Cook, tossing, just until there’s no more pink, about 1 minute. Add chopped scallions (the pale parts), ginger, and red pepper. Continue to cook, tossing often, until scallions are softened and bottom of skillet has started to brown, about 1 minute. Add udon mixture, mirin, and soy sauce and cook, tossing constantly, until noodles are coated in sauce (be sure to scrape bottom of skillet to dissolve any browned bits), about 45 seconds. Remove from heat and fold in 1 Tbsp. sesame seeds and dark-green parts of scallions. Top with more sesame seeds before serving.

PAN-FRIED BREADED PORK CHOPS RECIPE - NYT COOKING
Look for beautiful good-quality pork, such as Berkshire, and ask for center-cut loin chops with bone. For the bread crumbs, use day-old firm white sandwich bread or French loaf, cubed and whirled in a food processor, for about three cups of soft, fluffy crumbs. Dry, fine store-bought crumbs will not yield the same result. Make sure to fry these chops very gently over medium-high heat, to allow the bread-crumb coating to brown slowly, creating a crisp, golden crust. Serve with a tart salad or braised greens, such as broccoli rabe.
