12 eggs
1 cup mayonnaise
1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
2 tablespoons white wine vinegar
1 teaspoon red hot sauce

Steps:

  • Place eggs in a saucepan and cover with water. Bring to a boil; remove saucepan from heat and let eggs cook in hot water off the heat for 12 minutes. Pour off hot water and place eggs in a bowl full of ice water to cool.
  • Peel and halve eggs. Chop about half the egg whites and place into a bowl.
  • Put remaining egg whites and yolks in a food processor with mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, white wine vinegar, and hot sauce; process till smooth and transfer to a bowl. Fold chopped egg whites into the mixture to serve.

This is a real A+ recipe. There's no worry about being fussy with perfectly cutting the eggs, piping in the filling, etc. Just throw it all together and voila — deviled egg flavors in a convenient (and delicious) dip. This is also LIT on any sort of toasted bread, like avocado toast...but better! Be sure to go all out on garnishes; they really elevate this dip.

dozen large eggs

1/4 c.

mayonnaise 

2 tbsp.

Dijon mustard

2 tsp.

hot sauce

Kosher salt

Freshly ground black pepper

1/2 c.

sour cream

Finely chopped chives, for garnish

Smoked paprika, for garnish

Pita chips, for dipping

Celery sticks, for dipping

Carrot sticks, for dipping 

Steps:

  • In a medium saucepan, cover eggs by 1" water. Bring to a boil and remove from the heat. Let sit 11 minutes. Drain and run eggs under cool water. When cool enough to handle, peel eggs and transfer to a food processor. Add mayonnaise, mustard, and hot sauce to food processor and pulse until smooth. Season with salt and pepper. Add sour cream and process until smooth. Transfer into a serving dish and garnish with paprika and chives.  Serve with pita chips, celery sticks, and carrot sticks.
