Ingredients

1 lb. elbow macaroni
1/2 c. (1 stick) melted butter
4 c. shredded cheddar cheese
4 oz. cream cheese, cut into cubes
1/2 c. freshly grated grated Parmesan
2 (12-oz.) cans evaporated milk
2 c. whole milk
1/2 tsp. garlic powder
1/8 tsp. paprika
kosher salt
Freshly ground black pepper
Finely chopped chives, for garnish (optional)

Steps:

Combine macaroni, butter, cheddar cheese, cream cheese, Parmesan, evaporated milk, whole milk, garlic powder, and paprika in a slow cooker. Season with salt and pepper. Cook on high until the pasta is cooked through and the sauce has thickened, 2 to 3 hours, checking after 2 hours, then every 20 minutes after. Garnish with chives before serving, if using.

Ingredients

Cooking spray
8 ounces elbow macaroni, cooked
One 12-ounce can evaporated milk
1 1/2 cups whole milk
1/4 cup (1/2 stick ) of butter, melted
1 teaspoon salt
Dash of pepper
2 large eggs, beaten
Two 10-ounce bricks sharp Cheddar cheese, grated (about 5 cups)
Dash of paprika

Steps:

In a large 4-quart slow cooker sprayed with cooking spray, mix the macaroni, evaporated milk, milk, butter, salt, pepper, eggs and all but 1/2 cup of the grated cheese. Sprinkle the reserved cheese over the top of the mixture and then sprinkle with paprika. Cover and cook on low heat for 3 hours and 15 minutes. Turn off the slow cooker, stir the mixture and serve hot.
