CROCK POT CUBE STEAK & GRAVY | JUST A PINCH RECIPES
Now, this easy weeknight meal may not photograph very well, but boy it is tasty. Slathered in creamy gravy, the cube steaks are very tender. This is a mild dish that will appeal to any palate. If you want a bit more seasoning, add some seasoned salt or even a Cajun seasoning. A great Crock Pot dinner option that will hit the spot when you have a busy day and don't have time to prepare an elaborate meal. We opted to serve this over rice but mashed potatoes would be delicious too.

- Place cube steaks in a Crock Pot.
- Stir all other ingredients together and pour over the meat. Cover and cook on low all day.

- If you can’t find cube steak in your grocery store, buy top round steaks and pound them with a meat pounder until thin.
- In a medium-sized bowl combine the cream of chicken soup, cream of celery soup, ½ can of water, and pepper
- Slice the onion and separate it into rings
- Place a steak into the crockpot, top with the onion, then steak, onion again and so forth until all steaks are in the pot
- Pour the soup mixture into the pot on top of the steaks
- To finish, sprinkle the Lipton Onion Soup Mix on top of everything and cook on low for 6 hrs

Fry steaks in batches until deeply golden, about 2 minutes per side. Transfer steaks to a plate. Reduce heat to medium and add onion to pan.
