This is a great recipe for fried chicken to use in orange or lemon chicken. It’s not super greasy and it tastes great even cold. Thanks Pops! Great with my orange chicken sauce, Recipe #381956.

Number Of Ingredients 6

6 chicken breasts (cut into inch pieces)
6 egg whites
1 1/2 cups soy sauce
2 cups flour
2 cups cornstarch
2 cups vegetable oil or 2 cups canola oil

Steps:

  • Cut chicken into inch pieces.
  • Whisk together egg whites and soy sauce.
  • Soak chicken in soy mixture for 20 minutes covered in the fridge.
  • Add 2 cups oil to wok or deep fryer.
  • Heat wok to 350°F.
  • Put cornstarch and flour into a reseal able plastic freezer bag.
  • Add chicken to bag a little at a time, shake until evenly coated. Add more of the 50/50 flour mixture as needed to finish the job.
  • Add chicken to wok.
  • Fry 15 seconds only. No browning yet!
  • Remove chicken and place aside on a cookie sheet or bowl lined with paper towels.
  • After all of the chicken has cooked for 15 seconds let cool for a few minutes.
  • Fry it an additional 15-20 seconds or until golden.
  • Always check meat. If it is pink it needs to be cooked longer.
  • Top with your favorite lemon or orange sauce.

I have always thought that chicken breasts are not tasty. If they are not done well, they will taste dry and dry. Many people who lose weight eat boiled chicken breasts in order to reduce their calorie intake, which is really hard to swallow. There is a chicken breast at home, I found a bag of seasoning and marinated it, and then wrapped it in crispy fried powder and fried it in the pan. I didn’t expect that the fried powder was really crispy on the outside and tender on the inside, not the hard shell you imagined. This is much easier than breadcrumbs. It only takes two bowls to get it done. When paired with the secret tomato dipping sauce, it is really delicious, just like the deliciousness of a fast food restaurant. It is still advisable to eat fried food occasionally to satisfy your gluttony. After all, the oil in my home is cleaner than the outside, and I haven't re-fried it many times.

1 piece Chicken breast
Half bag Soy Sauce Barbecue Sauce
50 grams Fried flour
75 grams water
3 grams ketchup
3 grams Grapefruit salad dressing

Steps:

  • Add chicken breasts to the soy-flavored barbecue sauce and marinate overnight.
  • Cut the marinated chicken breast into large pieces.
  • Mix water and fried powder into a paste.
  • Pour Fulinmen blended oil into the pot.
  • Pour a portion of the dry frying powder (the amount is not included in the ingredients) into the bowl, and coat the chicken breast with the dry powder.
  • Put it in the deep-fried paste and coat it with a layer of paste.
  • Heat the oil to 60% hot, turn to the lowest heat, add the chicken nuggets and fry slowly.
  • Turn it over and continue frying until the edges are solidified, until golden on both sides are fished out.
  • The ketchup and grapefruit salad sauce are mixed to serve as a dipping sauce, and the chicken nuggets are dipped in this secret sauce and eaten.
