1 15oz can(s) hormel tamales, beef in chili sauce
1 15oz can(s) hormel chili no beans
2 cup(s) shredded cheddar cheese
3 cup(s) frito lay fritos

Steps:

  • Remove parchement papaer from tamales.Layer tamales in the bottom of a casserole dish or square baking pan. Pour sauce from the tamale can over the tamales. Next Spread half of the chesse over the tamales and sauce. Next spread the chili over the cheese. Top with the rest of the cheese. Spread the fritos over the cheese. Bake until cheese is melted and the chili is bubbly. Keep an eye on it to makle sure the fritos don't get too brown.
  • One option is to sprinkle a little bit of chopped onion on the layer of chili.

1 jar (13-1/2 ounces) tamales
1 can (15 ounces) chili with beans
1 medium onion, chopped
2 cups corn chips, coarsely crushed, divided
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
1 to 2 ounces sliced cheddar cheese

Steps:

  • Cut tamales into 3/4-in. slices. Place in a greased shallow 1-qt. baking dish. Top with half of the chili and onion. Sprinkle with 1/3 cup corn chips and shredded cheese. Top with remaining chili and onion., Cover and bake at 350° for 30 minutes. Uncover; sprinkle with the remaining corn chips. Arrange cheese slices over top. Bake 5-10 minutes longer or until chips are crisp and cheese is melted.
