I drink virgin bloody marys for breakfast pretty regularly. To me this is the perfect marriage of flavor for those of you who enjoy this delicious drink. Add alcohol when you're feeling extra zippy.

1 (46 fluid ounce) can tomato juice
⅓ cup steak sauce
3 tablespoons hickory smoke-flavored barbeque sauce
1 teaspoon ground celery seed
1 teaspoon garlic salt
1 teaspoon ground black pepper
1 pinch cayenne pepper, or to taste
8 wedges lemon, divided
8 celery sticks, divided

Steps:

  • Stir tomato juice, steak sauce, barbeque sauce, celery seed, garlic salt, and black pepper in a large pitcher. Serve in glasses over ice and garnish each serving with a pinch of cayenne pepper, a lemon wedge, and a celery stick.

My sister got this recipe from a restaurant in Ohio and all our family loves it. This is very spicy and needs time to blend flavors.

1 (46 fluid ounce) bottle tomato-vegetable juice cocktail
1 ½ fruit, without seeds lemons, juiced
1 teaspoon brown sugar
1 tablespoon steak sauce
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
1 teaspoon prepared horseradish
1 teaspoon hot pepper sauce
½ teaspoon celery salt

Steps:

  • In a large pitcher, combine juice cocktail, lemon juice and brown sugar. Season with Worcestershire sauce, horseradish, hot sauce and celery salt. Cover, and refrigerate 8 to 12 hours to allow flavors to meld.

GET AHEAD Lay out the salmon and cut out six pretty slices that you can wrap around 6 small sprigs of dill, discarding the tougher stalks. Roll them up for a 1980’s-style garnish, place on a plate, cover and return to the fridge. Very finely chop the rest of the salmon and place in a bowl with the cottage cheese. Pick, finely chop and add most of the remaining dill, then squeeze in the juice of 1 lemon and season to perfection, tasting and tweaking. Crack the eggs into a shallow bowl and whisk with the horseradish, ketchup, Worcestershire sauce and a pinch of black pepper. Cover both and refrigerate overnight. Spoon over the prawns and shrimp, add the smoked salmon rolls and remaining dill, then flick over an extra pinch of paprika, if you like. Serve with lemon wedges, for squeezing over. Delicious with champagne or whisky.
