2 tblspoons milk

Steps:

  • "Mix together with portable mixer crisco and butter, when blended, mix in vanilla and milk. Add contectioners sugar 1 cup at a time, mix well between each cup. *To add color it is best to use a paste food coloring. **To make this icing recipe really white use all crisco and use clear inmatation vanilla."

4 1/2 cups powdered sugar
1/8 teaspoon salt
1 to 2 tablespoons Land O Lakes® Half & Half
1 tablespoon vanilla extract

Steps:

  • Set butter on counter 30-60 minutes before using to soften.
  • Beat butter in bowl at medium speed 2 minutes or until creamy and smooth.
  • Gradually add powdered sugar and salt alternately with half & half and vanilla, beating at low speed and scraping bowl often, until well mixed. Beat at medium speed 1-2 minutes or until creamy, smooth and fluffy.
